I slept a lot last night. I was up for a few hours in the middle of the night, but other than that blimp, I’m good to go. Almost over the jet lag. I woke to Mrs. Coelho making fresh chapati. I am looking forward to the day she teaches me to make it, so I can make it when I come home.
I talked with pastor Scibelli on the phone today. I told him that I was dying from jet lag and he said to me, “No, when you get older, you will realize, the jet won’t make you tired, you will make the jet tired”.

More history on the cow: In the late 19th century, especially in northern India, a movement to protect cows arose that strove to unify Hindus and distinguish them from Muslims by demanding that the government ban cow slaughter. This intertwining of political and religious purpose led periodically to anti-Muslim riots and eventually played a role in the partition of the Indian subcontinent in 1947.
